with travel, life.

appreciate the comment that

really it is painting, not finishing, that i am about,

so will paint as close to daily as i can,

and finish them when they are ready.

finishing a painting every day is another

do i post them daily even when they aren't done

traveling tomorrow again.

missed 3 days and cancelled trip 

food poisoning.

just now functioning and painting again

will make up for lost days if i can.

no energy to try new things so

this daily blog keeps me painting, no doubt.

otherwise, could be trouble.

in nyc next week, not sure how i'll paint there

maybe collages, more travel journal-ish?

with some street detritus perhaps -

working back and forth between the acrylic and 

oil/wax combo - rarely do that, so interesting to 

feel the difference in the materials so directly. 

acrylic is great for the immediacy - easy to layer 

quickly, no drying time.
